Play Day!!

Today was a play day for me!! I got to take a couple fun classes from Andria, the owner of Reminisce paper company. I sat next to Kim & Lolly... so of course it was fun! We made 2- 2page layouts and 3- 1page layouts. I even won some prizes! What a treat!

Bottle Rockets

Have you seen the new Bottle Rockets line from Rusty Pickle?? ...LOVE IT!!! Here is my frame I made of this year's 4th of July. I tried a new photo editing technique... I edited the pictures so they are sepia and then added back in some color to add red and blue. For the frame I wanted a very "Rustic" feel, 'cause I love the paper! There is a lot of distressing, and layering, and tearing, and inking... but I think I got it just the way I like it! Oh, and I used a penny with a popdot and twine to close the journaling folder. Hope you enjoy!

A few odds and ends...

Just wanted to show you I have been working on my to-do list again...

*I got the doll house roof all shingled!! (gotta admit, it looks so much better!!)

*I got 9 pages of Hallie and Reese's Disney book done!!

*I made some progress on a little car seat somethin' I owe a friend :)

*I had to play Where's Waldo to find Reese the other day... did you spot her-- just reading a book!!??

*and a fun pic of my little Hallie!! (who starts t-ball next week!!)

Also, wanted to let everyone know... my ultrasound is scheduled for WEDNESDAY!! I know a lot of you have been asking... so hopefully we will know pink or blue!! I also have my first ever Jury Duty!!! What the heck?? The one week I can't possibly cram any more into I get stuck on jury duty! Oh well, guess I will get to find out what that is all about! {Maybe I'll start taking some pics and let them know it is so I can blog everything when I get home... will that let me off??} On Friday and Saturday I will be off at CHA {scrapbooking show} Ya know... taking pictures with Heidi Swapp again!! :) Okay, that is all the odds and ends for tonight!
