Reminisce DT Search

It's that time again! Reminisce is having another contest... so OF COURSE I am entering! You all know how much I LOVE their products!! So, I loaded up on pop dots and headed up to my new scrap booking "studio" to see what magic I could create! {I was really trying not to get my room messy, too!!} (You can never have enough pop dots with this company, they make it so fun to create dimension! Heck, as you will see... I used 2-3 layers of pop dots on somethings! I know Mom, I just totally lost ya there!!) Some of the lighting isn't the best for the pictures, but it was soooo windy here today I couldn't take them outside, like I like... so don't mind the glass table.

I have a lot of projects, mini books, and layouts to post so I have made all the pictures small, but just click them to enlarge. *and be sure to go all the way to the bottom, I saved my favorite line for last!!
The NEW Scare Tactics line:
This is a mini album I made with chipboard. The 12X12 sticker sheet has the haunted house, fence and moon and bats. The bat is on floral wire attached in between the sticker and chipboard to look ass if he is flying up by the moon. I love the spider paper... but it is almost too real!! I just used a little on the tag, so it looked like they were crawling out :) Can't wait for some Halloween festivities to fill it up!!

Here is a layout of Miss Reese using the Live Out Loud line. {This is one of my favorites} I love the bright colors, the daisies and all the fun sayings.

This is the Girly Girl line. I didn't have much left of it... but I really liked it and I thought it would work great for these pictures. A little bit goes a long way when you add pop dots and wire! I love how the butterflies turned out.
Up close...

This a little mini book I made with "junk" I used round coasters from Olive Garden, square from Outback, and coffee jackets from Starbucks! I love how it turned out!! This is the new winter line called Frosted!

Next up... a 4th of July line, called Est. 1776. I love the "grungy" feel of this line! It also has a metallic to it, that is really cool!

Reminisce... being from Iowa and all... has an Iowa Hawkeyes line! Perfect for this page! {I even used a rub-on like a little cheek tattoo:) }

Okay, now here is my favorite!! (Maybe 'cause I am in the fall mood right now??) Isn't this fall line fabulous??? It is called Shades of Autumn. I made this altered frame to match the wooden Harvest that I had made last year. I had made a 4th of July frame and just loved it so much I had to make something for the fall season, too! It looks so festive on my sofa table! (the colors in the pictures don't show off how bright and fallish they are!)
Then with the scraps I made the little card. {don't ya love the little turkey??} Again, it is just some paper, stickers, rub ons and pop dots!! I can't wait to use the rest of the paper and embellishments when I have the pictures to scrap!
Thanks for looking!! Wish me luck :)

No news, just pictures...

We had a pretty normal weekend around here... Friday we watched Nick & Lori's boys in the afternoon and then headed to their house in the evening. Ryan and Nick took Parker and Hallie to the high school football game, while Lori and I took Owen and Reese to play at the mall. Saturday Nick came over to help Ryan ALL day with some electrical stuff... adding outlets, lights, tvs, all that stuff. So again, the kids played... {Thanks Nick for all of your help!!} I also took the girls to a gymnastics meet at their gym so Hallie could see the bigger girls. (one of her student teachers was there, so she was excited) If you just mention the word "gymnastics" Reese starts bouncing all around and gets super excited!!

Oh, funny Hallie story for the day...
We were driving and my hair was looking like crap... so I say,
"My hair looks like crap!"
"No it doesn't, Mommy"
"You don't think it looks a little crazy?"
"Well just in the back... but who sees that?" :) {Gotta love her!!!}

Here are the random pictures I promised.

Ryan has also been taking the girls on bike rides again!
