Was a success :) They got second place!! Reese was a little nervous (she is the flyer) and "chickened out" during the stunt. She is such a sturdy little flyer, but doesn't want "to go high", as she says. It was just a small competition... so this was good practice getting them ready for the BIG one in Omaha in a couple weeks. I asked Hallie how she liked performing in front of the big crowd, she said "It was awesome!!!" She just eats it up!! {She even participated in the jump off!!} ...I think cheerleading is in her blood!! It is amazing how far they have come and how much they can remember! I can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds!! Great job girls!! GO APEX!! GO FRENZY!!
I also wanted to give a little shout out to this a-MAZE-ing friend of Hallie and Reese's. This is Jenna! {Coach Nikki's little sister} She is on the next older team. She "tied" the Lib off :) She stayed soooo still holding her liberty! Great job, Jenna!!!
8 friends had to say...:

Glad everything went well! You're right--I don't think little Reese's head could hold up two of those bows!!
