The cake...
This post is for Kim... she requested a pic of the WHOLE cake! {It was the teacher in her, wanted to see the book!} I thought I would share the pic of her Junie B doll, too.

This cake wouldn't have been possible without a dear friend that I work with at school. Since our girls' basketball team was playing a State in Des Moines we got to see Hallie on her "real" birthday and I wanted to have a cake but long story short, not much time, friend scanned and laminated the cover of the book for me so I could just put the checkerboard around it and TaDa, we had a Junie B. Jones book cake. After making cakes for lots of people over the years, the VERY best ones are the ones I make for my grandchildren. There's ALOT of Love in those.
And I am sure it is so special to the grandkids to get their cakes from Grandma!!! You can always tell the love you put into them!! Lucky Grandkids!!!!
Love it! Such a special cake and even more so that it was made with love by Grandma!
Cute cake. We loved Junie B when the girls were younger. Saving them now for the posiblitity of Grandkids, but hoping for at least 8 more years.
