And we're off...

Okay, I have a lot to blog about the week... but in the meantime a lot has been happening around here. We are officially moving (to the Des Moines area). I guess I was kind of in denial for the first few days, but it is going to happen... so I better get used to the idea. It isn't that I don't want to move, just that I have met soooooo many people in the Quad Cities that I will miss! We will obviously come back and visit, but it just isn't the same! I will miss the zoo and park visits, scrapping over McDonald's lunch with friends, our neighbors, Sonic runs, hearing everyone's stories at the scrap store, the junk store visits, the opportunity to share my scrapping, and so much more!! The Quad Cities have been full of adventures for us!!

Dates? Wondering when?? Well, the official day we close on our house here is August 15th... due to moving help we will be moving on August 9th. {Right after my boot camp class at Scrapaganza... so if you want one more class with me get signed up!! It is from 10am-1pm and you will learn about a ton of techniques and products! I'd love to see you all again before I leave!!!}

As always I will keep blogging, but be sure to leave comments every once in a while so I know you guys are checking in on me {and it will feel like we're talking!}

Off to get some housework done and begin the packing process. I will be back on blogging about the fair and t-ball and other fun stuff from the week!

12 friends had to say...:

Well, congrats on selling your home! I sure will miss you at the store but I guess I can "see" you on your blog! I am wondering where you are moving to but maybe it's a secret. I will miss you! Good luck where ever you go!

Everything will work out---it is always hard moving from a place when you have made friends----and looks like you have made a lot of great friends there! But it will all work out---(and Des Moines just happens to be closer to IG!!!!) :)

I hate that you are moving into a big house with a POOL! :)

But I'll come visit. Begrudgingly.

You will be missed!

When you said that you probably would be moving to the Iowa side, I naturally thought you meant Davenport or Bettendorf! Silly me. When you move, you really move. You will be missed!!!

Congrats on the house sale... wow, that seems fast!!! How long was it on the market? Good for you! I know it's hard to leave good friends, but I have no doubts that you will make plenty of new ones here... and get to be close to more family and your old friends again too!!! :) We are VERY excited that you will be moving back and hope to spend more time with you this time around! :) Also... Nick will be there on the 9th to help move!!! Be sure to call and give us a reminder!! hehe!

I'm going to cry! I will miss you for sure. I wish I could take your class but alas my kids need stuff for school, like lunch money, silly things, LOL! Good luck with the move and new surroundings.

Can't wait to have you guys in my area! I can always use more friends and then I will get to meet the two lovely girls that I feel I already know from your blogs! Unfortunately I am out of town the day you move, but definately give me a call. My phone broke (again) so I lost all my numbers, so I will rely on you guys to call me :)

Really? Wow Candi - that's great! I am sure it will be hard leaving the Quad Cities but how exciting that you'll be closer to all of your other friends and family in the area. Congrats on the new house too - you will def. have to take pictures and post them!

Good luck, Candi! I know everything will be great for you. DSM has some great LSS's. You'll be hanging out there in no time! I'll be checking in to see pictures of that new sweet baby in 100-ish days!
