Let the festivities begin....

Hallie's 4th birthday fun started Thursday. They celebrated her birthday at school. She got to bring a snack... so we made "princess" cookies. Of course with Hallie I always have a little story... so here is the cookie story!

"Hallie, what color crowns do you want?"
"Pink."
"What about if we do white with pink on them?"
"Mom, if I show up with white cookies my friends are going to be like... What the February? We wanted pink cookies!" she stated with lots of attitude!

I swear she has skipped 4 and went straight to 14!! Guess we have been watching too much Ellen this month! :)

Then today, Friday, Hallie got a birthday box and card from Grandma Tricia and Papa. She loved her zoo package! Zoo membership, quarters to feed the goats, animal crackers, and a little Giraffe named Slamdunk (she thought she'd just call him Hallie, though). Now all we need is some warmer weather!!

9 friends had to say...:

Way too cute, that Hallie! You should do a mini book of daily conversations with her. Start with the salt & pepper, add the pink princess cookies and go from there. Happy Birthday to Hallie!

A person doesn't realize how "boring" life was before your grandchildren were born. Happy Birthday Miss Hallie, your smile, wit, and "love for life" has brightened our lives!!
